Laboratory
The laboratories of Chemistry are adequately equipped with the latest instruments such as UV-Vis spectro photometer,Photo electric colorimeter,conductivity meter, pH meter, Potentiometer,Polarimeter,Electronic weighing, Analytical Balances and equipments like magnetic stirrer,melting point apparatus, Hot air oven, Muffle furnace,suction pumps,electrically operated water bath and Theromostat which are required to carry out experiments in modern day chemistry. The students are exposed to the various chemical/Analytical techniques required for their research.
The Department has four laboratories organized on a unique pattern of functioning. Since its inception in 1974, the laboratories have been engaged in imparting the highest level and quality of academic education.

The Chemistry Department Library consists of 1053 copies of text and reference books which are categorized as general UGC basic,UGC (Auto),Book bank and COSIP-ULP. The main areas of subjects are Inorganic Chemistry,Physical Chemistry,Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry,Applied Chemistry,Biochemistry,Nano Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry,Medicinal Chemistry,Green Chemistry,Food/Dairy Chemistry,Research Methodology,Physical methods in chemistry/Instrumental methods of analysis,Computer for chemists and objective chemistry for GATE/CSIR/JRF/NET etc.,
The Department Library is catering the required resource of students and faculties for the UG/PG/Reasearch courses conducted by the Chemistry Department.
